JOB TITLE: Retail Support Technicican


The Retail Support Technician is responsible for supporting operations teams with all technical systems related to retail technology within the restaurant.


  • Answers inbound helpdesk calls from Schlotzsky’s restaurants requiring technical assistance for an array of products and services
  • Improves and maintains highly organized and efficient cabling and system setup within restaurants
  • Proactively monitors retail technology systems for issues, required software updates, and opportunities for improvement or gained efficiencies
  • Educates restaurant team members on proper system utilization, and more effective usage of restaurant technology platforms
  • Builds relationships with technical vendors to improve product rollouts, troubleshooting of third party systems and quick issue resolution
  • Assists with technology projects as required


  • Undergraduate and/or graduate degree and 3-5 years of technical support experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience with Windows (2000, XP, Win 7) desktop administration
  • 3+ years’ experience configuring, troubleshooting and repairing computer hardware
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
  • Understanding of TCP/IP networking
  • Experience with desktop imaging (Ghost)
  • Experience supporting systems remotely, via telephone directed troubleshooting and usage of remote control tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft computer skills, i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Capable of working individually and as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects/priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to remain calm in pressure situations and adapt quickly to change
  • Possesses a high degree of drive with a proven track record of achieving results
  • Restaurant operations experience is preferred
