JOB TITLE: Restaurant Management Recruiter

LOCATION: Atlanta, GA

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Restaurant Management Recruiter will collaborate with Operations Management and Field HR on recruiting efforts for restaurant management and field support positions.  The successful candidate will be responsible for full life cycle recruiting including posting openings, interviewing candidates, setting up interviews with hiring managers, conducting reference checks, managing related paperwork and extending offers.

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement Talent Acquisition strategies to attract top restaurant management talent, ensure quality selection as well as manage an active pipeline for future openings
  • Provide resources and best practices training for hourly team and new restaurant opening recruiting
  • Creatively source candidates for open positions through a variety of resources including traditional networking, cold calling, social media and online resources
  • Perform searches for qualified candidates according to job criteria and implement strategies to improve quantity and quality of applicant flow
  • Make recommendations on candidates based on job descriptions and hiring standards
  • Manage the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and hiring managers
  • Maintain current knowledge of recruiting compliance guidelines
  • Ensure recruitment files are completed in accordance with compliance standards including applications, evaluations, applicant tracking, etc., and manage confidential documents with professionalism
  •  Update and maintain restaurant management and field support job postings on both internal and external job board sites. 
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts with employment resources, participate in local and out of state job fairs both local and other events as needed
    • Manage the entire life cycle recruiting from candidate generation through direct sourcing, interviewing and hiring
    • Interview all candidates utilizing behavioral-based interviewing methodologies

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

 

  • 1-3 years' experience in recruiting and staffing with a restaurant background or experience in casual/quick service dining preferred
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook experience are required
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • A positive, proactive, flexible and can do attitude
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and a high level of confidentiality
  • Strong Social Networking presence, influence and know how
  • Restaurant management experience a plus
