JOB TITLE: Manager - Equipment Procurement

BRAND: FOCUS Brands

LOCATION: Atlanta, GA

The Manager – Equipment Procurement will manage the purchase of $20 million in equipment and replacement parts and directly negotiate all equipment and replacement parts purchasing contracts. This position will report to Director – Equipment, Facilities and Restaurant Services.

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages the purchase of $20 million in equipment and replacement parts
  • Directly negotiates all equipment and replacement parts purchasing contracts
  • Reports to Director – Equipment, Facilities and Restaurant Services
  • Implements strategic purchasing programs
  • Manages key supplier relationships to ensure business and department success
  • Partners with Development team to meet the needs of an aggressive new restaurant build schedule
  • Ensures that appropriate costing techniques are used to achieve overall least landed cost for equipment and replacement parts
  • Communicates purchasing activities to Brand personnel and Franchisee community as needed

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum three to five years of equipment procurement experience
  • Understanding of cost components and formula pricing
  • Understanding of equipment and raw material (metals) markets
  • Good communication and strategic skills
  • Ability to motivate and direct suppliers
  • Ability to successfully implement major strategic initiatives
  • Ability to work closely with Franchisees
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
